Phrase to literally identify anything as a “thing”. Used mainly to state that something unusual is going on and it’s a thing because it’s in reality.

“The woman at cvs just closed the door 25 minutes earlier so I guess that’s a thing”
“My boyfriend is actually a woman soooo apparently that a thing “
“Wow that’s a thing?” (Talking about any crazy situation)

3. An event, habit, or happening that is special or organized enough to become its own concept. In the wikipedia of your life, this moment has earned a unique article.
