The O'Reilly Factor

The principle that an organization won't fire a serial sexual harasser who brings in millions of dollars until his harassment hits its bottom line.

Fox kept the O'Reilly Factor on the air despite knowing that Bill O'Reilly was a sexual harasser. But when word leaked out that he was and the public found out, advertisers pulled their ads. Then the O'Reilly factor kicked in.

H-factor

The isolated girl in a group of socially acceptable or popular girls who is, very noticeably, unattractive. A group of attractive or popular girls will often adopt a fat girl, an "ugly" girl, a socially awkward girl, etc. They usually do this in order to make themselves feel better about being popular, or to look better by comparison. In most cases, the H-factor is a fat chick, but not in all. The H comes from the term "Holder".

"Hey man, why are those babes hanging out with that one fat chick? She totally stands out."
"I don't know. She must be the H-factor."

"Amanda is always hanging around hot girls. She wouldn't have many friends if she wasn't an H-factor."

F-factor

The Friend-factor is used to calculate the degree of friendship one is rated at when figuring out how much times going to be spent with each known individual.

Being that so much time was spent with friend A, buddy B used the F-factor to estimate the precise amount that would be appropriate to share with friend C.

Clown Factor

The Clown factor is the fear of doing something brave, because you are afraid to fail and be clowned by your friends and family. This factor must be considered before attempting something crazy, because the benefits from succeeding may not outweigh the clown factor of failure.

Juanteliio didn't ask Esmerelda to the prom because the clown factor of his rejection was too great

Buggerance Factor

Buggerance Factor: This is derived from the English slang buggerance meaning an annoyance, an untimely interruption or something else that interferes with the smooth progress of work. Its use became particularly prevalent in project management where it became necessary to allow additional time for these unforseen and unforseeable events. Where it was not possible to allow this time against a particular element of the project, a non-specific increase in time was allowed to cover these eventualities which became known as the Buggerance Factor.

The Buggerance Factor is there to cover the extra time needed to rectify those things, which never ever go wrong, but invariably do if you fail to allow for them. It is usually added because of a sixth sense on the part of the project manager that something unexpected is going to happen and is the factor that allows for the law of project management that states Parkinson, Murphy and Sod are alive and well and working on your project.

Malcolm's managed to wangle his way on to the next project!
That fuckwit! We'd better increase the buggerance factor in that case.
