Originally used in Runescape classic when combaters were mandated to fight for 3 rounds before being able to run away from a fight. Being 3 hit meant that you lost the fight in 3 or less rounds

I'll 3 hit you noob, you can't beat me, you'll go down in 3 hits

It's a way to express vulnerability even during success.
Originally stems from fighting games to express frame advantage.
Use it in daily conversations please... do it

Example : Newborn
Parent A : "James we finally got a child !"
Parent B : "Yes Susanne but it will have no legs !"
Parent A : "guess he is -3 on hit"
