Bucks County

The best county in the state of Pennsylvania. Also one of the most affluent. Part of the Philadelphia metropolitan area (aka Delaware Valley) Bucks is home to rolling hills, beautiful farmland, cute towns, great shopping, and diversity. Politically liberal. The roads here are much better than other parts of the state. And people drive faster. Usually divided into three parts:

1) Upper Bucks - land of rolling pastures and picturesque villages, quirky places (Haycock Township ;) and the rather large Lake Nockamixon.

2) Central Bucks - the wealthiest part, known for its premier school district of the same name; Doylestown, New Hope (PA's version of Provincetown) and Buckingham are the richest areas

3) Lower Bucks - most urban part that is closest to Philadelphia; lots of racial and economic diversity; Langhorne, Sesame Place and Bensalem are the major attractions w/ tons of commercial development

All in all, an awesome place to live. Sure taxes are a bit high and owning a house is expensive, but generally, people are friendly and welcome change. If your going to move to Pennsylvania, move here!

Lehigh girl: Where did you get that ring from? Its so classy.
Bucks girl: I found it at an adorable antique store in New Hope.

Lehigh girl: Where's that? Wherever you got it from must have been a happenin' place.

Bucks girl: Bucks County, the best county in the Keystone State!

Bucks County

Pennsylvanias 2nd wealthiest county. Montgomery County is the richest.

Bucks county offers many fun and exiting family oriented activities and great things to see and explore. There are many beautiful homes, developments, and state parks located throughout the county.

It is hard to believe that there are people who can critize a place as wonderful as Bucks County, PA.

I think your just ashamed to admit you live in a great place.

Unless you live in Bristol or Morrisville there is no reason not to love living in this wonderful part of PA.

Bucks County

A county in South Eastern Pennsylvania where M. Night Shyamalan filmed his movie "Signs" (which was an awful movie). As a result of filming it in a mostly rural setting, he now gives the impression that Bucks County is nothing but farmers living in the sticks with their cows to keep them company.

Watch "Signs" and then come here. You'll see what I mean.

Bucks County

A county in Pennsylvania that people from there like to think is the wealthiest and most affluent with the best schools. This of course is completely untrue especially when you look at some elite counties outside of Philadelphia such as Montgomery and Upper Delaware county. These counties have home to some of the richest in the world, and the Main Line is one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in the US.

Bucks county is merely a satisfactory place to live, there are some nice house but they are cheap because the schools really aren't that great.

Schools on the mainline such as Lower Merion, Radnor, Conestoga, and Great Valley are some of the best schools in the country and each one has been declared a blue ribbon school multiple times.

Many SINGLE schools from Delaware County, Montgomery County, and Chester County are better than the whole Bucks County school district combined.

Oh and Bucks County sports teams are not good at all. Delco has some of the top football teams in the state, as well as Chester.

Chad: Hey man Bucks County is one of the wealthiest counties in PA to live.

Mike: ONE of the wealthiest but not the wealthiest by far. The only reason its even one of the wealthiest is because the other 60 counties below it are shitty and in the middle of nowhere. Chester, Delco, and Montgo are home some of Pennsylvania's premier Neighborhoods and Schools.

bucks county

A county bordering the delaware river in PA. Also used to decribe stuck up people who act like they are ritch and sofisticated. Also used to describe overly priced antiques sold to yuppie new yorkers. Also known as the new yorkers wet dream

A rusted out urinal from a junk yard turned into a planter, only it has a $400 price tag on it. And the sap from new york who bought it drove four hours to pick it up from new york city in a hummer that has never been off road.
