They beat the shit out of you and then "apologize for it" In reality what happens is that that if you have a terrible childhood and then commit suicide or beg people for money because you can't do anything. If you die they weep fearing what will happen to them and they are terrified they will end up on the streets not that they have lost a child.

In First person shooter games like Call of Duty, it is the act of signing off and signing back on when you are doing terrible. Also known as rage quitting. The "Indian Parent" comes from the fact that parents who are Indian tend to have alot of rage.
