I get it

The term "I get it" is used when you finally understand something that wasn't clear

Person 1 : Like I told you before, that's how you can solve this equation

Person 2: Your explanation wasn't clear... but I get it now. Didn't know it was that easy. Thanks, buddy!

I get it

A term used by young professionals to borrow the acceptance of something obvious to validate something unrelated they might feel guilty about to focus the conversion around themselves.

I get it, Jim, our health care system cares more about profits than it does helping people but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t sleep with Mark before he breaks up with Sally, does it?

I get it

Paul is pissed coz i'm too much of a butterfly: talking about the weather, counting down my squats, petting the neighbours dog Monty and bringing it up at dinner, complaining about the bullies at work, expecting his comfort coz my old jeans don't fit, et cetera.

When all there is to it is to face him, express your deepest gratitude that he exists, explain to him how happy you are when he is with you, how your head and heart explode when you hold his hand, how sad you get when he is unable to be near you, how helpless you feel when he shuts down, how he makes you smile and laugh, how much you crave intimacy with him even though it drives you crazy, how annoying it is that he needs to be assured every 5 seconds (😘) but he needs it and you do, too, so no worries, i get it.
