Having plans cancelled at the last minute. Usually occurs when the person with whom you had plans gets a better offer, or is too tired/hungover/grouchy/pissed off at you to want to hook up.

When you're punished for the actions of your ancestors that were obviously doing something wrong but were never punished and as the world evolved and society banded together to acknowledge and right those wrongs, yet someone, stupidly, at some point, continued that wrong, either on purpose or "accidentally", is severely punished for their actions, by issuance of a raincheck. Part of the Cancel Culture movement.
The university pulled a scholarship offer it gave to one of the nation’s top quarterback recruits after a video of him using the N-word while singing along to lyrics in a rap song surfaced. He was rainchecked! Mike added that he “fully accepts” the consequences for his actions, and that he respects the university's decision to withdraw his scholarship

When you go home with a fugly chick and begin to sober up you realize you can't sleep with this girl. When she goes to the restroom to prepare herself for sex, you pull the sheets and covers down, dump all over the bed and pull the sheets back to cover your crap. Then run like hell!
