frothy

Frothy is a term to describe an economic climate that is approach a "bubble". A frothy market has a excess of optimism and investment speculation, which drives up the value of seemingly value-less companies and investments like real-estate. It is said that the climate was "frothy" before the burst of the so-called "dot-com bubble", and subsequent recession.

I'd prefer a good salary over stock options; the tech industry seems a bit frothy at the moment.

kicksave

A type of action where a person reflexively "kicks" a falling object before it hits the ground at full force, thereby saving it from breaking.

Jeff dropped his phone at the bar, but an immediate kicksave prevented disaster.

co-jerking

A co-jerking space is a shared working environment where people who might otherwise be productively working from their bedrooms are working alongside each other in a large common space. Co-jerkers are often inexperienced, highly distractible tech entrepreneurs obsessed with "innovation" and "community", are prone to making loud Skype calls, being overly supportive of each others' projects, and being obsessed with the latest successful company instead of their own.

I can't wait to move my tech startup to a normal office, and out of this co-jerking space.
